Karen Rader, MD is a native Tennessean, born and raised in the Livingston community. She attended Tennessee Technological University and then graduated with highest honors and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from UT Memphis. She served as director of Pharmacy at HCA Livingston Community Hospital from 1979-1982 before returning to UT Memphis and earning her medical degree in 1986.
Dr. Rader’s postgraduate training consisted of three intensive years of study in internal medicine at Washington University Medical Center, Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has a special interest in women’s health.
